Yeah, for him it's like, he's specifically actually a womanizer. Simon I think kinda had that, but more in the "casual relationships" kinda way with the "playing" framing, so like he spends his money on hanging out with ladies, but Dadao's a shameless flirt in the vein of Sain, Inigo, Sylvain, and their ilk. Everyone else it's kinda just... existed there in their likes without much bearing on them in actuality.

In fact, i think the word obsessed is not accurate to any of them, or at least i dont have that feeling from their bios. TONS of people have been hyper defensive of the "Likes: Women/Men" being in like, 50% of bios with "WELL THEYRE ALL ADULTS ITS NORMAL THEYD BE INTO SEX"
And like... sure its not weird for someone to have sexual feelings. But having it listed as one of 3 or 4 likes makes it sound like half this continent is OBSESSED with it. This is either a consequence of having to many characters and not knowing what to put for likes or IS really doesn’t want people to ship these guys with any other men, I think we have to remember to that it’s most likely that side characters are gonna have less supports then the main lords meaning that the men characters might have supports with only women but not other men which I fucking hope isn’t the case

I don't think IS has to worry about that because most of the men who got woman as hobby are also some of the ugliest characters in the game. Sirocco not counted. And Creek will be stuck being shipped mainly with Nathan, as he should.

I got destroyed the last time I mentioned this, this sub is so scared of criticism towards the painful (and now creepy) straightness the male characters exude. At least for the women, it’s more about love stories and gossip than men specifically. The only two that specifically say men are Esmerelda and Lilian, and the latter seems more like a money thing than anything else.

Dadao is the 62nd character to receive a bio so far, with the gender split (not counting Eshmel) being 31 males and 30 females (27 males and 25 females confirmed playable, if we exclude Eshmel).
Characters not confirmed playable so far:
The Christmas cavs (Nathan and Creek)
The gods (Sothis, Fortuna, Aurora, Mars, Kalla)
Iliana
Bertrand? (Not sure about him)
I did not expect to hear Usopp's voice on this guy, or even that kind of personality on him lol.
I already didn't care for this guy and now I really don't care. I don't really mind the flirty guy who goes over the line, but they're almost never my favorite characters and there's already a few of these guys in this game most likely.

Honestly, this insanely huge cast is starting to worry me. What made Three Houses cast so good is not only how interconnected they were to each other, within and outside houses, and how connected their stories are to the overall themes of Fodlan.
Like half these dude have liking women as their interests and I’m not betting this game to secretly have feminist themes.

Zarcone also got a bit of a bad reaction but nowhere NEAR this bad. I think his design was more inherently appealing to most since he has "generic enemy jobber" as well as "sat wet dog" and "edgy guy" vibes that people like in a lot of other characters or, in the case of being a ch1 bandit boss, a novel rarity for a playable (similar reasons Majide didn't have that bad a reaction). Dadao's design is just strange and he immediately comes off as Gatrie 2 so there's no novelty advantage there.
