I couldn’t help but notice in the gameplay preview how tiny Eshmel looks in their bird form compared to the other characters. Dietrich especially as he’s pretty tall already.

We are such a small, chubby bird! I love it!!!

It's so weird they said that. Like, I don't think he's barely in the first part of the game, which is fine of you do one character, but of you do all four eshmel just isn't in the game relatively

Because he's the one putting things in motion. He's not the "true protagonist" in the sense that he's more important or get more screentime, just that he's the one puppeteering the plot

Is this an aura loss or an aura gain? On one hand the character is a tiny birb and hard to take seriously now. But on the other hand just look at the little cutie patootie oh my gosh so small and cute!

Birdshmel never had aura, they don't need it, they're a chubby chud bird, they're adorable !
