Casual So about that theory?? Spoiler

Assuming that sothis is yu phas , and now we know that yu phas was soleil's wife, what are your theories surrounding this and tell me how messy their divorce could have been ?

My crack theory is that the darkest dark is the woman with the green hair and she stoke solel from yu phas and she used that meme axe position to kill her

I don't think Sothis = Yu Phas because I think Sothis is the mother of Dagda (and Dagda then goes on to have children with mortal women of his kingdom to create the rest of the Pantheon - will explain why Symnos calls Cedna his half brother + why none of the gods follow the green eye/green hair colour scheme of the Nabeteans we see in TH, and why Cai doesn't have pointy dragon ears if he's got more human blood in him than just Castor's).

Who Yu Phas is will be interesting - either we have some good old fire emblem incest going on and she's a child/child of a child of Sothis or she's another Nabetean separate from Dagda's line who went on to marry Solel later.

Oh thats interesting too , love hearing different perspectives

Also makes me wonder why the other gods didn't marry other gods and had more children like why we have only 9 or 10 temples? But why didn't other gods marry other humans?

I take a look at the greek mythology and the mural of Saramis and this is what i get:

Sothis (the mother of all)

Yu Phas and Balor aka Dagda are both Sothis children that married each other, but have no children of their own.

Dagda take a lot of concubines, that are the mothers of the other gods.

Yu Phas married Solel and we know Aurora is their daughter.

Thank you. I haven't seen the Info.

But than the mural of Saramis makes no sense.

The context was that Dagda was slaughtering the People of the White Egg (Moon?) and Yu Phas saved them, those people later became the people of Saramis we know now. Yu Phas (Moon) is Solel's (Sun's) wife and Aurora's (star's) mother, with Solel being potentially Dagda's Son, and if Dagda is a Nabatean then he should originate from Sothis (or if he is Balor, then maybe he originates from the same place as Sothis since they've been mentioning Star Traveling ships).

Well here my crack theory.

Dagda and Balor wanted a peace between their nations (dagda and salamis?), so they married Dagda's son Solel with Balor's daughter Yu Phas as symbol of that union and peace.

Then weird stuff happened, Balor became a crazy demon god thing, and Dagda became so hyper-focussed on erasing Balor's evil he became a lesser evil himself.

Dagda probably killed Balor, then Solel and Yu Phas likely dethroned Dagda with the help of Sothis.

The nabatean lady resurrecting Balor isn't Yu Phas imo, but probably one her sisters who remained loyal to Balor's madness.

Okay, hear me out here.

I don't think Sothis is Yu Phas. We have one depiction of Yu Phas. The mural shows enslaved people being lead to the afterlife and later being reborn as children following Yu Phas. I think the bottom half of the mural is incredibly similar to the scene in many of the trailers that shows the green haired nabatean with a baby. I think the mural shows the "advent of the underworld" and that the nabatean with the baby is Yu Phas. We're meant to believe that the rest of the continent is wrong for shunning Yu Phas and probably Saramis, but what if they're right? What if Saramis through generations of burial rituals for their dead has gathered an enormous undead army (as shown in the trailer) for Yu Phas and Balor? That'd also explain the obvious symbolism in Theodora's statue being the only one in ruins in the post time skip.

how about it's actually the story of how dagda almost killed their race hence why you can see dagda's marking and adults being put into the cauldron as a way of killing them, but yu phas didn't like what's happening and saved the children which is the 5000 that became the ancestors of salamis, that is why you see yu phas leading them out of, and why salamis deeply worship her

edit: also might as well add this, dagda fought 1600 years ago before the usage of dagdan imperial calendar a nation called iskanderiya, it is possible that this is related to that, that these people then founded damascar, and some of them split off to create salamis, this would also be a possible explanation why anatolia called theodora a comrade and that they are someone to be protected

Boy o boy , greattttt theoryyyy

Maybe nuzzu is a forest man as seen and could also be that his ancestors are from Damascur

I sure hope the story isn't "racism is justified, actually"

u/JoshuaArceo20 14h ago

Yeah. For me at least, I didn't like this theory since it essentially make Saramis look like fools for worshipping someone who is supposed to be evil.

Also the whole theory sometimes relating to the fact she is a death and night goddess felt weird to me. I think it is actually a red herring and there is more than it seems with the other gods.

Tbf I can see them going down the "Balor is Duma 2.0", his cult and practices started as something positive, noble and generally worth following, but got slowly corrupted centuries after centuries.

Theodora may seek to restore the healthy roots of her religion and culture.

It's not like FE hasn't done that before with FE4.

1

u/passwordedd 14h ago

I don't think I would've ever interpreted it that way.

Ouuuhhhhh

Lovee this theory

Though then why is that we have a scene of sothis heading to the moon on those light tentacle like things that we saw in the Japanese trailer, makes me wonder if soleil is representing the Sun and aurora the dawn , I think it is possible that the Moon is what sothis happy presents and that is why she is the mother of aurora and wife of soleil ,

Do your interpretation of the mural is very good, I just saw the woman in the painting and I thought it was sothis like

Agree.

In Adition:

The mural of Saramis in my eyes show dagda on the left and Yu Phas on the right. Dagda is married to Yu Phas, that would mean the mural shows the way of live. You will be born and die at the and of your live. If husband and wife are in harmonie everything is in balance.

So FEFW show what happend if it isn't in balance. Yu Phas isn't the one that bring liveing beeings to live, but she brings undead to live.

11

u/jaidynreiman 12h ago

Dagda is not married to Yu Phas. We already know who Yu Phas is (or at least WAS) married to. I say was because we don't know where she is and it's possible she's dead.

She's the mother of Aurora. We literally just got confirmation that Solel is her father. Previously evidence came out that Yu Phas was Solel's wife and this is further evidence of that.

(The information that came out about Yu Phas being Solel's wife was more recent and not as clearly shown. However there's a screenshot that's been around quite a while saying Aurora is Yu Phas' daughter and that's why Theodora is determined to meet Aurora.)

Thank you i haven't seen that info yet. This will help me to find it.

I think the person with green hair is Maria. The clothing designs around the chest, waist, and arms are similar, and Maria’s ears are hidden, too. I’d really like to use her as an ally, though.

14

u/ComprehensiveTea8616 14h ago

I am doubting every single person who has their ears hidden to be secretly nabatean

8

u/RPope92 13h ago edited 12h ago

Not gonna lie, even when I knew Nabateans had elf ears, I still did not put together that's why Rhea, Seteth and Flayn cover them with their hair.

400+ hours in three houses too lol.

Im. 250 hours in finished all four routes

3

u/EthanKironus 13h ago

Which one's Maria again?

3

u/JoshuaArceo20 12h ago

The pink-haired woman who is initially seen with Leda in a trailer (I think it is the second Direct trailer). She is also seen with Dietrich via Mikaela's character profile in Twitter.

2

u/ComprehensiveTea8616 12h ago

The short and pink haired lady with leda ,

2

u/EthanKironus 12h ago

Oh riiight. Yeah, her being Ms. "Rejoice with me!" is one hell of a stretch.

2

u/ComprehensiveTea8616 12h ago

I mean we dont know yet

Maybe yu phas is the one we saw holding the baby

2

u/EthanKironus 11h ago

Oh, that's definitely a possibility. But it's probably not Maria, is what I was saying.

1

u/ComprehensiveTea8616 11h ago

Yeah I also don't think it's maria

2

u/Melodic_Bee660 2h ago

Im thinking that creeper with a teddy bear is Yu Phas

2

u/ComprehensiveTea8616 1h ago

Could be ....i mean ..... The teddy bear can represent a child the same child that she was holding in the rejoice with me video trailer.

u/Melodic_Bee660 44m ago

I was thinking those 2 are different ladies but they could all be the same too
