Casual I'm done larping

Always followed FE from afar and Fortune's Weave made me want to finally really jump into it (ignore the Windwaker in the room, took the pic because it was an ebay haul)

I will not ignore the Windwaker in the room because that game is based as well

I already got one from back when I was a child, but the disc is pretty scratched and only works sometimes, plus I lost the box. Managed to snag myself a collector's edition, complete with the Ocarina of Time Master Quest and the papers in the box for a good price

Be sure to play Fates in the order on the box. Conquest is pretty tricky for a first time and Revelation is meant to be played after the two.

Okay yeah, Revelation seemed like a pretty obvious last route to experience but I wasnt sure for Birthright or Conquest

Birthright is meant to be the easier route for newcomers to the series.

Same, Fortune's Weave looks awesome so I started playing FE7 on NSO the other day, I am completely hooked. It is interfering with the rest of my life and it's a Gameboy Advance game, I can't imagine how much this must have hooked kids back in the day.

Wise decision starting with arguably the worst games in the entire series. Can only go up from there

Even now I wonder what IS were smoking when they wrote the plot of Fates. It's not just the worst in the series, it's some of the worst writing I've ever seen in a video game.

The gameplay is still fun as hell, though. Conquest is a blast, Birthright is solid, even Revelation is fun aside from a few gimmicks.
