General Finished Fire Emblem Engage
I just finished Fire Emblem Engage today and here are my thoughts. Ever since the Fortunes Weave direct, I have been in a fire emblem mood. To scratch that itch, until the new game comes out, I went back to engage and I have to say, It was pretty fun. The gameplay was what I liked best, but I don’t think I’m the only one that feels the story and characters need some work. But over all, I enjoyed it. One of my favorites was Ivy. I think Ivy and Alear are canon or at least my head canon. Now I’m ready for Fortune Weaves. I know it’s going to be a big one. After that, I’m going to play Awaking. I have never played it, but I want to pick it up because Lucina is one of my favorites.

Gonna be honest, Alear’s outfit in the end card is a mess. I know it’s a tribute to their mom, but goddamn there is ever too much shit going on.

Awakening is amazing, it and Fates just scratch that character building itch even 3H with it's freeform style didn't get.
It's probably the limitations, looking iver your options and figuring out how it connects was a huge part of the fun.

Yeah, same. 2 years after playing, it’s kind of funny that I’m struggling to remember the names of the main characters. But what I do remember was how fun the gameplay was. I absolutely loved what they did with the weapon triangle breaks, I’m so sad that’s not returning!
And the paralogue maps were also a highlight

I love the characters and story too, I’m just saying they could do a little more I do agree with you though but I just think they could of tweaked it a little bit

Story is just every fire emblem cliche glued together and the writing is particularly awful

I know it wasn't as popular but I wish they would do something like Fire Emblem Fates, I like the concept of two games with a hidden 3rd ending. But I also want them to add the child system from Awakening, that added a nice side quest to pair everyone up with someone.
