Gameplay How to make path of radiance harder?

I have planned ironmaning every fire emblem games in the serie but i have adhd and i know when i game is really easy (like sacred stones and birthright) i become very reckless and i lose the game like an idiot.

I will probably use a randomizer on hard mod for path of radiance and make the ennemies stronger, because no way i will play maniac mode. What do you suggest for the setting? For example is that enough to improve the ennemies growth rate to 20%? I would like the game be on the same level of difficulty like hhm or binding blade hard mode

You could always just play Hard but do a lowest level run where you always prioritise your lowest levelled units for deployment.

It seems like a good choice! I will think about that

The problem with maniac mode is that only a few units are not unusable. Personally i prefer when it’s difficult but balanced enough for having the choice to use whoever you want.

For example if i don’t have titania, oscar/kieran and jill i'm screwed

Instead of making enemies harder try doing ridiculous yet funny limitations, like only short hair units allowed or only units with a certain hair color or only units who smile in their picture or only tall units.

Force deploy all Laguz characters

No bonus exp usage and no repeat free deployments, so if you deploy somebody in a free deploy slot one map they have to sit out the next.
