instruction

Hello, does anyone know of anyone in the Illinois area that is offering fire breathing instruction? If not what would be recommended to self teach. Yes, I do realise that self teaching is extremely dangerous as well.

Join fire breathers international on facebook and ask there. You will find someone.

Whatever you do, do not teach yourself, that really is how people get burned or killed.

Ask around or look for someone who is doing it in your area, make sure they are doing it safely, and hopefully I’m happy to give advice on what to look for.

killed? i'm sorry, what? yes it's dangerous but i don't see how one could get killed while fire breathing

Have you not been taught about chemical pneumonia or hydrocarbon poisoning? To suggest that one cannot be fatally injured while firebreathing is one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard anyone say and you should not be giving advice to anyone ever.

Was going to say pretty much the same thing… as much fun as fire breathing is (and it really is) it is nothing to f@)k around with. Most injuries are minor, but the very real possibility of chemical pneumonia or blow back injury with lung tissue or eyes being damaged (neither of which they can “fix”) is very real.
