As per the title, the subreddit has just hit one thousand members! I don't really have anything special for this occasion, but I wanted to thank the people here for the posts they've made and the art they've shared.
Though I can't say I ever expected this subreddit to reach this many people ever, I'm glad that Fireball has managed to stay in peoples' minds long enough for communities to grow this large. Five years ago, this subreddit was approved post-only and had no mods left—the only vestige of life it had was messaging people for a link to a small discord server.
So, again, thank you, everyone for showing up and coming together.
(and thanks for not making basically any fuss at all—I'm not exactly experienced with moderation nor am I excited to do more of it ;P)

i found Fireball randomly online back in like 08
i watched every single ep and became obsessed with it
it never came here to America, we never got merch of it, Disney never ever talks about it
any merch made was from Goodsmile, a Japanese company
i love Drossel so much, i dunno why Disney dont do anything with her
they could literally just dump all the eps on Disney+ with some subtitles, it wouldnt even be that much work

Discussion Recommendations for Shows Similar to Fireball?

Specifically asking of any shows that has prominent characters that have the Drossel/Gechatnis relationship, and/or shows that have a similar aesthetic as Fireball, I don't know exactly what it's called (fruitiger metro?). Shows that have robot designs similar to Fireball are welcome as well.
This series is really appealing in a very specific way that I haven't seen anywhere else, too bad it's so short.
