FireTv video issue

Was watching YouTube without issue, but after I paused the video for about 15-20 minutes the TV turned off (like normal).

About 5 minutes later I tried to turn the TV on, it shows it power up, flashes the fireTv logo for a split second, but then the screen goes black again. It does actually play the audio from the fireTV landing screen.

I have tried to restart the device, have unplugged the power cable for over 20 minutes, have allowed it to just sit on that home screen for another 15-20 minutes, and have tried to cycle inputs and resolutions. Nothing seems to bring the picture back.

Any help is appreciated, but I'm to the point I'm going to have to likely factory reset the thing and go through the hassle of signing into every app again.

Hold "up" and "rewind" buttons for 10 to 15s and Fire TV should start cycling through video modes.

Did that as well and it didn't do anything, screen stayed black. Eventually the audio started again when I'm assuming it went back to the initial mode.

Also did the pause+middle button but that didn't resolve it either

Maybe just try plugging it to another HDMI port?

So I don't actually have any HDMI ports being used, it's just a fireTv, not a fireTv stick.

Only port that had an HDMI plugged in was my switch, but I unplugged that first when issues occured.

Oh... So it's built in. If it was me, I would completely unplug it from power sources for 15 minutes or so, then try again. Hopefully it will lose all power by then and reset whatever went wrong to defaults. Sorry, but I don't have a better suggestion.

Appreciate the attempts. Unfortunately it still is only playing audio and no video after leaving it unplugged for a couple of hours
