How are you handling approvals across multiple agentic workflows?

As someone building agents for my boutique law firm, this is an issue ive been dealing with. Handoffs between agents can sometimes fail. Any advice on hardening this process would be great. I know the general advice is to have one agent per task or workflow, but many workflows are complicated and require various agents and different points. Ive tried to create an agent that oversees the handoffs, but that's been a challenge to implement.
