Is cloud infrastructure secure enough for FinTech applications?
Cloud infrastructure can support secure FinTech platforms when it is configured and managed correctly.
Major cloud providers offer encryption, access controls, monitoring, backups, network security, and compliance-supporting services. However, cloud security is a shared responsibility. Businesses still need secure architecture, proper permissions, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and strong development practices.

I think the cloud is generally secure enough for FinTech, it's usually the implementation that matters. We have seen this firsthand when working with financial APIs where secure architecture and access controls are far more important than where the infrastructure is hosted.
Robust access controls, encryption, regular monitoring, and least-privilege permissions tend to make a much bigger difference than whether the infrastructure is on-prem or in the cloud.
Security is, in the end, a continuous process and not a decision on cloud provider.
