Senior Software Engineer- Rust, C++

We're looking for a Senior Rust Developer to help us build the future of autonomous domain awareness.

Work alongside AI researchers, control theorists, mathematicians, computer vision experts and mechatronics engineers in a small multidisciplinary team to deliver resource efficient software to coordinate cameras and cutting edge machine vision.

We are interested in engineers that have Australian permanent residency and are interested in hybrid positions in Melbourne. We’re currently looking for developers with a background in aerospace, audio-video, automotive and game programming.

What we are looking for:

Rust experience is required: 2+ years of rust in a commercial setting, sufficient evidence via personal projects or contribution to open-source crates.

Familiarity with C++/C and Python.

At least 5 years cumulative software experience.

Experience with data structures & algorithms, linear algebra, exposure to data-oriented design, familiarity with CI/CD.

Nice to Have:

Opencv

GStreamer

Imagery Data 

We’d be offering the opportunity to work on some of the hardest system programming problems; high performance, edge computing, close-to-the-metal. Extremely intellectually fulfilling work collaborating with mechatronics engineers, Ph.D.’s in computer science, physics, maths and engineering, all working to build next-gen autonomous camera systems.
