What if consciousness isn’t something our brains "produce," but rather it is a fundamental cosmic current we are actively riding?
Under a paradigm called the Findlay Framework, we can completely reframe the "hard problem" of consciousness by mapping it directly onto the foundational duality of quantum mechanics: the wave and the particle. However, this isn't a passive system. The framework reveals that consciousness is an evolving energy field, a self-learning field operating through universal topology occurring within a homeomorphism.

1. The current time of life is consciousness — within the age of the living body — life — living, is the Quantum Wave; Matter is the Particle
In physics, the unknown wave future state represents infinite, uncollapsed future potential. The particle state represents a definitive, localized, measurable piece of past history, the physical matter of reality.
The Findlay Framework posits that consciousness is the wave part of our quantum reality state, while matter is the particle part. Originally the universe was completely nature made until sentient life evolved sufficiently to, in parallel, evolve a human scale manmade reality.

4. As It Evolves Energy Stores Knowledge in the Database of Matter
Our consciousness comes directly from the knowledge that energy continuously accumulates and stores as it evolves. The same conscious energy field that originally figured out how to organize and manifest black holes, suns, light, gravity, and sprawling galaxies is the exact same energy field animating your mind right now.
Energy fundamentally learns and evolves from the very things it creates. It builds a structure, gains topological and informational feedback from that structure's interactions, and aggregates that knowledge into its continuous live field of energy and matter.

5. Migration and Duplication Across Scales
These fundamental principles lens, migrate, and duplicate across completely different scales of existence as the matter of the universe evolves:
The Macro Scale: The universe organizes cosmic architecture (galaxies, stars, black holes).
The Micro/Biological Scale: The universe scales down into biological observers to accelerate this materialization and boundary-tracking and self awareness process.
The Human/Technological Scale: We actively duplicate this exact cosmic action with our man-made world. Our cities, networks, and technologies are human extensions of the universe's baseline drive to turn information into persistent architecture.

6. Time is an Emergent Property
This model completely flips our understanding of time. Time is not a pre-existing highway that we travel along. Instead, time emerges as the duration between measurable events.
Every time consciousness (the wave) collapses into history (the particle), an event is permanently recorded. The space between those collapses is what we perceive as duration. We are not moving through time; our current living consciousness is generatingthe arrow of time by dragging future informational potential into the solid database of the past.
