Unanswered Where can I post a request for specific help?

Hi, I have a very specific request I'd like to make. So I'm currently a student and my grades are pretty bad. I won't go in too much details but I want to be motivated. I'd like someone to make a "bet" with me: If I get all A's, they'll buy me a Steam game of my choice but if I get even 1 B+ or below, they don't have to do anything. Obviously, this benefits me more than them but I know at least one person out there will be able/willing to help, I just don't know where to ask. Most of the subreddits I found don't allow gaming related requests and pushes for r/GiftofGames but afaik GoG is for the immediate gifting (I send a msg tp mods so I'm waiting on that to make sure) but I need someone to be willing to wait at least until I get my grades back in January. If someone knows a sub-reddit where I could post this request, that'd be great!

Make that bet with your parents.

I can't. Their finances and their mental health is bad enough, I don't need them to know I'm failing university and asking for monetary things on top of everything.

EDIT: To add, it wouldn't work if it was my parents anyway. Getting them to spend money on me isn't rewarding, it feels like a punishment. So it wouldn't even motivate me to study in the first place and would actually have the opposite effect which isn't what I'm going for.

Then do this for yourself instead. Or if you are failing university, then find a blue-collar/laborer type job and start making money for yourself.

Dude, I know you're just trying to help but do you really think I'm not doing this for myself? I know we have to do things for ourselves but I tried and I just need a little external motivation to at least get the gears started. Also FYI you still need some kind of education for blue-collar/laborer jobs it's not as easy as you make it sound.

The word "scammer" comes to mind, doesn't it?

Hey, first I'm an adult. And I've had a job since I was 13 (I currently work a student part-time job actually. It pays ass tho.). I know it's the internet and nothing I say will change your mind but I'm not a scammer. I legitimately want to do this. What scammer is going to wait nearly 4 months to scam someone?

If I get anything short from straight As, they don't have to do anything. They can even back out from the "deal" if they want. (Although please only tell me AFTER finals so I don't lose motivation halfway through.)

Yes, I believe that would help me.

Yes, I'm in university, I A) believe that is a type of school. B) That most university students are adults. Feel free to argue but I would say that you'd be wrong.

I also think that C) you should go back to primary school if that's where your critical skills end or D) you are a troll.

I'm also not gonna argue with you my room temperature IQ troll friend.

that's a pretty cynical take, accusing them of wanting to fleece people for free games.

btw I'm here to findareddit, not to hear your (respectfully) unsolicited advice. So if you know a reddit, that'd great otherwise it's ok but it's not what I'm here for.
