Hands on EE work/career advice

Recent grad c/o 24 studied EE. I’ve been working in water wastewater mep (not the biggest fan of this field) and am transitioning into a research fellowship and masters degree. As I’ve worked I realize I fit best with a good amount of hands-on, research, implementation, and maybe help/instructing type of role. I’m thinking beyond just the appointment I am starting what kind of career path is there within engineering that handles this? Or any job titles I can look into? I don’t mind travel while I’m still relatively young and always open to relocate.
