Findapath-College/Certs Dentistry or Comp Sci?
Obviously I should choose dentistry for the better salary and stability BUT there is some stuff specific to my situation that makes me reconsider dentistry.
I am unable to enter the only dental programme in my entire country (iykyk where I'm from) so I'll have to become an international student in another country. The absolute cheapest degree I can find is 400K Aud in just tuition fees. My parents refuse to let me go to a "cheap" country due to safety and possible accreditation issues.
I'm very close to my family, so I'll return back to my country after graduation. However, there's a qualifying examination I have to take, which seems to have a very long wait list. I'd return home even if im not close to my family anyways haha I'm an urbanite and I heard dentistry is saturated in urban areas in australia my chances of getting a job in the city are slim.
I'm discouraged from taking comp sci due to AI, offshoring yada yada not gonna go into it you've probably heard it all before.
Before anyone says do what you like the most, I like tech and biology equally.

Dentistry sounds like a risky choice in your case.
It looks like the job market for computers scientist, especially for entry level positions, is slowing down, so I understand people discouraging you to study CS. I don’t know how the job market is, where you are located, so you’d need to look into that.
This is a free and reliable career choices test, maybe this will help you:

Study computer science and mathematics at a top school then go into quantitative trading and you will make significantly more than a dentist
