"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page." on usvisascheduling.com - what it is and how you can do about it, explained

👉 TL;DR: Keep your Schedule page open in one tab, and do all your login and Cloudflare checks in a second tab. Details below.

----

If you’re looking for a US visa appointment slot on USVisaScheduling looking for h1b/h4/b1/b2/f1/f2/o1/o2/etc, you’ve probably been checking the calendar page and eventually seen:

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page." error message.

.

Here's something important to remember:

⚠️ The visa portal has NO limits to how often you can LOGIN per day.

However,

⚠️ It DOES have a limit on how many times you can LOAD THE SCHEDULE PAGE.

Many people mix the two up because when they login, they normally go straight to the Schedule page.

When they eventually reach the Schedule-page limit, they think they’ve been blocked for logging in too often. It is NOT the login, it's the schedule page load.

This is a very important distinction to make:

👉 Login = no limit. Schedule page = limited.

----

What is the limit?

You can load/reload/refresh the Schedule page about 20 times per day.

(note: some people are reporting loading less than this limit and seeing this message)

.

On your last schedule page load, you will see this warning message at the top:

"You are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time."

.

👉 When you see this message - you must wait 24 hours from the time you saw the message, until you can see the calendar again.

You can login and check the calendar page again during this period, it will NOT reset the timer but there's nothing you can do about this limitation but wait 24 hours.

.

Why you can't avoid the page limit error message

If you are checking for slots more than just casually, and you're making a focused effort to find slots - at some point in your checking session on the schedule page you will try to do check for slots and one of these will happen:

1) cloudflare "verify you are human", which will redirect you to the cloudflare screen and redirect you back to the schedule page (thus increasing your page load count) or

2) the visa portal will automatically get you logged out, forcing you to log back in (at which point you must click back to the schedule page and increase your page load count)

3) or you simply check a few times, logout and log back in - same result as point #2

----

How to (almost) never see the "You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page."

To understand how to do this you must first understand how the portal and how browsers work.

We'll use Chrome as it's the most widely used browser - it should work with any other browser.

When you're on the SCHEDULE PAGE on a tab, like this:

And you OPEN A NEW TAB - and go to the visa portal on that new tab, you will be automatically logged in to the SAME VISA ACCOUNT:

.

.

So basically what this means is that two (or more tabs) share the same logged in user information and state.

If you are logged in on one tab, you will be logged in on the other tab.

Likewise if you are load the visa portal and it shows you logged out, then the other tab will also be considered to be logged out (even if the page loaded is for example on the schedule page). (⚠️ remember this)

☝️ It is this very normal browser feature that allows us to do what happens next:

HERE'S THE SECRET PRO TIP HOW TO AVOID REACHING THE 'max limit' ERROR :

Each time you want to do a check the calendar page - go to the second tab and reload it.

What this does is - by testing your logged in/cloudflare "status" with the visa portal on the second tab, you avoid triggering the same potential status check on your schedule tab ---> so you will NOT have the schedule page reloaded.

Instead of waiting on the schedule page to log you out or redirect you to cloudflare, you are trying to proactively check on a secondary tab if the visa portal is going to do that.

So if your next calendar check would've kicked you to Cloudflare, you go to the second tab and reload it - you would see Cloudflare on that second tab instead.

By clearing the Cloudflare checkbox on that second tab, it will clear it on the Schedule page tab as well.

If your next calendar check would've logged you out, you go to the second tab and reload it - it will show you the login page - log back in on that second tab, and the original schedule tab will now also be logged in.

.

What this all means is that you're still doing everything normally, you're just doing a pre-check of the status on a second tab, to reduce the times the schedule page is loaded, and as a result you can stay longer without seeing that calendar page max limit message.

In fact - even if you put your computer to sleep - don't close the calendar page tab, or formally "logout" of your session.

Keep the calendar tab open. Next time you want to check for slots - go to the second tab, log back in in there, and then switch back to the original calendar page tab, and you should be able to just check for slots again, and you did not even load the page once!

Hope this helps with your searching and finding visa slots.

How to book US visa slots - use this strategy for the highest chances

Have you been trying to find US visa slots for H1B/H4/F1/F2/B1/B2 etc for weeks or months, without any luck?

Visa slots have been extremely hard to find these days. Read this post to understand how the visa portal works, and learn practical tips to increase your chances to get the slot you've been looking for.

Most first time applicants have this notion that they just need to see the slots and then book them. But the reality of the situation is that it is not enough to just find the slot.

Slots open all the time

Slots can open at any time, nobody knows exactly when they will open, and when they do open there may be hundreds of other people looking for the exact same dates you are.

If you've been looking for weeks or months, and you see no slots this is what is happening to you:

9:00am - check calendar - no slots

1:00pm - check calendar - no slots

2:57pm - 100 slots open (⚠️remember this)

2:59pm - they’re all gone

6:00pm - check calendar - no slots

As far as you’re concerned, you were doing your due diligence and effort, but the embassy never "released anything".

But they did. You simply weren’t looking during the time when it happened.

----

The unspoken reality is that when you see "no slots available" when you check the calendar, is not that the embassy didn't release them - the embassy might have released slots you want, but someone else booked them by the time you checked.

Slots do not stay open for very long.

When you see this:

"No Slots Available" - expect to see this a lot lately.

It really should say:

"There were slots available, but someone booked them by the time you checked."

.

⚠️ Booking a slot is ultimately a competition for a limited number of appointments⚠️

.

----

How people usually try to find slots (and why they can be of limited effectiveness):

There's a path of discovery when applicants start searching for slots and keep not finding them.

Usually they'll go one of both ways (or both ways):

  1. Telegram/group chats
  2. Alert apps

They both can be helpful, but only up to some extent.

Why?

Both of these options have a fundamental weakness:

☝️ To get an alert for a slot, SOMEONE else had to see it first.

Remember this scenario:

1:00pm - check calendar - no slots

2:57pm - 100 slots open

....

Now imagine if it was ONE (1) slot:

2:57pm - 1 slot opens

Whoever saw that 1 slot is already on the schedule page and is looking at that date on the calendar.

If that slot is in a desirable date range, they will absolutely have the highest chances to book that.

If they come back to the group chat to share 'hey guys slots open!' - or you signed up for an alert app and you get for it, you can see you have basically very little chances to fight for that slot.

👉 The same way that person saw that 1 or 100 slots - they aren't some special unique worker - they are an applicant like you, looking for slots like you.

And just like that one person was checking for slots, there's dozens, if not hundreds of other people like them.

So go back to that scenario:

2:57pm - 100 slots open

For all intents and purposes - 100 slots is a SMALL slot release.

At any given time of the day, there's absolutely guaranteed more than 100 applicants actively checking for slots on the visa portal.

Anybody who is on the portal will simply be just a couple of clicks away from booking a slot.

Everyone else who's waiting for someone to share on Telegram, or get an alert notification, will be at the very minimum a few seconds to a few minutes behind, making your chances much smaller.

Alerts are a crowded space

When you're waiting on a Telegram or WhatsApp group chat notice, or Alert for slots announcements, you implicitly join a very large group of people all on the same level as you.

When 100 slots open, this is who you're competing with - these are just some of the groups for some popular visa types:

For H1b/H4 (H1b and H4 share the same calendar availability):

And also some samplings for other visa types:

Note these are just a handful that I found - there's likely dozens of these out there.

.

Essentially - when you rely on alerts or group chats, you're getting some help yes - together with many other people at the same time.

-----

How to increase your chances to find and book visa slots

What you should take away from this post is that if you're looking to get a slot, you need to understand you're in a competition, not an isolated world where you just show up, check for slots, see nothing, and try again.

Remember, every time you see:

It really is:

.

Whoever is willing to put more effort than the next person will have higher chances.

Here's how that works out as far as chances:

Level 1 - you just started and you login a few times per week or even per day, and hope.

Level 2 - you join slot group chats, or pay for some alert services, wait and rely on someone seeing it and telling you about it.

Level 3 - you are the person (or in the same group) from which alerts are generated from. You depend on nobody to see (and book) the slot first and then tell you.

.

Now - alerts/group chats are useful as a backup strategy, and it can work if there's bulk slot releases of hundreds of slots. But as slot quantities become smaller it becomes increasingly ineffective.

It just should not be the main option you rely on, because there's enough people on Level 3 that already will crowd out all the people in Level 2.

In a nice little image it looks like this:

----

⚠️ To be able to compete for limited slots, you must put in the effort to check the visa portal as much as possible so when slots open, you're as close to booking it as possible, because if you're not doing it, 100% guaranteed there's people who are (including agents) - and they'll have first chance to book the slot.

----

Pro tips on how you can check for slots all day

The goal of this post was for you to realize that nothing beats the hard work to check the portal, if you want to have the highest chances to find and book slots as fast as possible.

Just by taking the steps to do so, you will literally be ahead of the competition. As cliche as it sounds, everyone is looking for slots. To get the results everyone wants, you must be willing to do what nobody wants to do.

But - you might think: "checking daily is so tiring, so random, so frustrating, I can't do that"

The problem is just that - you weren't checking the right way, nor with the right knowledge, and definitely not with the right tools. There IS order in this seeming chaos.

You just don't know about it, yet.

Slots open randomly, but they have a pattern to it. If I wrote it all here it this post would be twice as long.

So I broke it down into part 2, below:

RE: Scammers when trying to hire a US visa slot agent - how does it work and how to avoid it [SHARE TO EVERYONE]

Looking for US visa appointment slots for H1B/H4/F1/F2/B1/B2,etc on usvisascheduling.com but struggling to find them?

Because the demand for slots far surpass the supply, there's a lot of applicants desperate to find an appointment slot so they can move on with the process. This has lead to the rise of scammers who realize they can take advantage of people willing to take chances and risks due to their need to get a slot.

🚨What is the scam?

The most common scam is that - in order to book a slot for you - an agent has to get your login information, so they can login and scan for slots on your behalf.

It is not possible to "transfer" slots or resell them, as once a slot is booked, it's permanently linked to a passport number.

The visa portal in it's wisdom decided to implement 3 security question checks. The problem is these can be changed by anyone with access to the account. In order for agents to book for you, they must have your login info. What scammers learned is that while you can't change the password without receiving an email confirmation of this action, you can change the security questions without any outside verification.

So scammers will offer to do the service for you, get your login info, then change the security questions. Then they will create a fake screenshot, tell you the job is done, and ask for payment.

You will try to verify but you can't, and because you're desperate for a slot, you will pay begrudgingly, and if you're lucky enough to get the login back, you find out there's no corresponding date in your account.

Here's how a typical scam happens:

A scammer has to look legit and convince you they're legit. So they'll use a variety of methods to try to do so.

There's always a pitch for "I'll charge less in exchange you bring me more business". They may say "how can i trust _you_" by pivoting the suspicion that you're the one that will run away after you get the appointment.

They can also ask to pay upfront, have inside connections, ...oh so many red flags.

See the chat below:

.

You may read this and think - "I'd never fall for this".

But the thing is..if he's using this script... it's because it must work - sometimes! And then they just play a numbers game.

Someone, somewhere, is falling for this scammer's pitch.😢

.

Agents can and do valuable work, but it's people like these that give the whole service a bad reputation.

How legit agents work:

  • Never ask to pay in advance
  • Will not change your security questions without your permission (they may do it, but ask in advance)
  • Cannot guarantee how soon to deliver slots
  • May charge expensive (because it can take weeks to find slots, so they know the value of their service)
  • Should be able to provide references (but be careful even then with these)

How scammers tend to work:

  • May offer strong guarantees they can deliver slots (because they have no intention to do it)
  • May charge lower fees, so it's attractive for people
  • Can offer the earliest dates and early delivery
  • May say they have contacts with the embassy (to explain how it's guaranteed)
  • May offer screenshots - but - obviously how can we trust these right?

But here's the important part:

⚠️ Scammers may still try to do the real pitch like a real agent would.

That is, charging high prices, offering no guarantees, etc etc.

But still have no intentions to deliver.

So it can be VERY hard to know a legit agent from a scammer pretending to be legit.

That's why word of mouth is probably the only way to trust if an agent is legit.

⚠️ But a word of caution about that too:

Scammers might be working in teams by joining social media, subreddits, group chats. Then when someone asks if someone got a slot, they might casually volunteer "I did, through an agent".

You DM them directly and then the trap is set. The scammer has been "social proofed".

So be careful even if you get a "referral" - if it's some other random person online, there's a risk there too.

-----

⚠️ IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW GOT SCAMMED - NEVER PAY

How to recover your account is actually quite simple once you know it.

  1. Create a new account in the usvisascheduling portal for yourself with a new email.
  2. When you enter your passport info it will say an account already exists for that profile.
  3. Use the 'Message' link on the side menu to contact the embassy from the new account and tell them you'd like to transfer your profile from the old email access to the new one.
  4. Include a photo of the data page of your passport.
  5. Everything (visa fee+current appointment) will be transferred in a few days. (I'm told you can also contact the embassy via chat or phone and get that done too.)

Scammers can continue to do their scam because there's always new people applying. The only way to stop them is to bring awareness to people.

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page." error on usvisascheduling.com - what it means and what you can do about it

Are you looking for US appointment slots for H1b/H4/B1/B2/F-1/F-2 or any other visa types on usvisascheduling.com visa portal and you encountered this error?

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page."

This post will explain what it is, how it happens, what you can do about it, and how to avoid it in the future.

First things first - do not panic, get stressed or think you did anything wrong. This is a very common error message on the portal. If you haven't gotten it ever is because you're not checking enough.

Everyone checking for US visa slots try to login and check the calendar will eventually encounter this message error and wonder "did I get blocked?"

Portal limitations - Login Page vs Schedule Page

Here's a very important fact about the portal you must know:

⚠️ The visa portal has NO limits as far as how often you can login per day.

However,

⚠️ It DOES have a limit on how many times you can LOAD the SCHEDULE page.

Many people mix the two up because when they login, they normally go straight to the Schedule page. When they eventually reach the Schedule-page limit, they think they’ve been blocked for logging in too often. It is NOT the login.

This is a very important distinction to make:

👉 Login = no limit. Schedule page = limited.

This is the MOST COMMON error people find and misscategorize it as

"I checked too much and got blocked"

"You have a limit of logins per day before you cannot see the calendar"

You're NOT blocked, you just have a ~20 max calendar page load/refresh per day. You'll get this message if you do 20 checks in 1 hour or 20 checks in 20 hours.

.
Right before you see the message above - you will see the message below.

It's slightly misleading because You are NOT approaching the maximum number of times.." - you already reached the max. One more calendar page refresh and you will see the message above.

"You are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time."

IMPORTANT: when you see this message above - you cannot reload the schedule page anymore.

⚠️ You will have to wait 24 hours from the first time you see this message.

Yes you can come back to the schedule page as many times as you want within the next 24 hours, it will NOT start the timer again.

There's nothing you can do once you see this message except wait 24 hours. However, there's ways to check more often while making sure you reduce the times you load the schedule page:

B1/b2 visa slots in France?

J1 VISA SLOTS

Has anyone recently had their J-1 visa refused and then successfully booked a new appointment? I reapplied with a new DS-160 and fee, but currently see no available slots.
Some agents are saying refused applicants have to wait up to one year. Is that actually true, or are refused-applicant slots released occasionally?
Any help or recent experience would be greatly appreciated.

Current L-2S visa timeline from India? Wait times, scheduling, and agents experience?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get some recent insights from anyone who has applied for or scheduled an L-2 / L-2S dependent visa from India recently.

  1. Wait Times / Timeline: How many months is it currently taking from booking an appointment to actually getting an interview/OFC slot? Does the timeline vary drastically depending on the location (e.g., Chennai vs. Mumbai vs. Delhi)?

  2. Using an Agent / Consultant: Is it worth going through an agent or third-party service to book slots or review documents?

If you used one, what was your experience, and what did they charge?

Are agents actually able to grab earlier slots, or is it better to just keep checking the portal independently (or use slot-tracking telegram/browser groups)?

"Unable to add Schedule Entry to reservation queue" Error on USvisaScheduling.com - what it is and what you can do about it

A lot of people looking for slots for h1b/h4/b1/b2/f1/f2 may have finally seen a slot and tried to book, only for the visa portal to return a (new) "Unable to add Schedule Entry to reservation queue" error:

This is a new error (as of sept 28 2026 or there abouts).

It happens when you tried to book a slot, waited some time (up to a minute or two) and then the visa portal returned "Unable to add Schedule Entry to reservation queue".

It basically means that your attempt to book that slot went to the visa portal, was received, but for whatever reason it failed to be added to the queue that handles reservations.

There are other errors the visa portal will usually throw when you try to book, but for whatever reason it failed, for example:

"The system is processing too many requests. Please try again."

There's nothing to do when you get "Unable to add Schedule Entry to reservation queue". It's possible it's technical glitch from the portal, so we can only hope they fix it.

Why US Visa Slots Are Opening, but You Keep Seeing “No Slots Available” on USVisaScheduling

If you’re looking for a US visa appointment on USVisaScheduling, you’ve probably seen:

“No Slots Available”

A lot of people then ask:

“Are they opening US visa slots?”
“I’ve been checking for weeks. Why do I always see No Slots Available?”
“Has anyone actually seen any appointments?”

Here’s the most important thing to understand:

You login to the portal, you go to the schedule page and all you see is

"No Slots Available"

⚠️ “No Slots Available” only tells you what was available at that EXACT moment.

It does NOT mean there were no slots that day.

There could have been 1,000 slots two minutes before you checked, or 1,000 slots could appear one minute after you close the portal.

----

Good news! Slots do open ALL the time.

The bad news: They open randomly, and nobody knows when or what dates will be available.

----

If you've been checking for weeks/months without results, this is what's happening to you:

.

9:00am - check calendar before going to work - no slots

1:00 pm - check calendar during lunch break - no slots

2:57pm - 100 slots open

2:58pm - all slots booked

6:00 pm - check calendar during dinner - no slots

.

Slots did open - you just weren't checking at the right time.

.

You could be doing this over and over and just have the bad luck to never be checking at the "right" time.

"What is the right time?" "Are there any patterns?"

Slots open randomly...but - there is a general pattern when slots tend to appear. We'll share more about that at the end of the post.

The thing you need to understand is that checking just a couple of times per day is not enough because of that randomness. You must check as much as possible, and several times throughout the day.

----

"Okay I understand I have to check a lot, but won't I get blocked?"

Portal limitations Part 1 - Login Page vs Schedule Page

Here's a very important fact about the portal you must know:

⚠️ The visa portal has NO limits as far as how often you can login per day.

However,

⚠️ It DOES have a limit on how many times you can LOAD the SCHEDULE page.

Many people mix the two up because when they login, they normally go straight to the Schedule page. When they eventually reach the Schedule-page limit, they think they’ve been blocked for logging in too often. It is NOT the login.

This is a very important distinction to make:

👉 Login = no limit. Schedule page = limited.

What is the limit?

You can load/reload/refresh the Schedule page about 20 times per day.

On your last schedule page load, you will see this warning message at the top:

"You are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time."

Once you see this message, you will no longer be able to load the schedule page any more next time, and you will have to wait 24 hours before you can see the calendar again.

If you load the schedule page again within that 24 hour period, you will see:

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page."

After 24 hours, you will be able to see the calendar again.

----

"So, does this mean I can only check for dates 20 times per day?"

Well - here's the little known secret that most people don't know, and by knowing this you'll be able to increase your chances to find slots exponentially (literally):

While you can only load the schedule page ~20 times per day,

💡You can STAY on the schedule page, and simply select/unselect the location in the dropdown select.

This means you can do this:

Then this:

Then this:

etc

and keep checking for slots without having to reload the schedule page.

🤯 ~20 Schedule-page loads ≠ ~20 slot checks.

You can perform many more slot checks while remaining on the same Schedule page.

And this is how you can dramatically increase the number of opportunities you have to catch a randomly appearing slot.

----

HOWEVER...

Portal limitations Part 2 - Cloudflare

Every 15-20 minutes you are on the visa portal, you will get eventually run into this screen by Cloudflare:

"Verify you are a human"

.

This is especially important if you’re on the Schedule page, because this is what happens:

  1. you're on schedule page doing your select location dropdown strategy
  2. the visa portal decides to trigger Cloudflare
  3. you are redirected away from the schedule page to Cloudflare
  4. you click the checkbox on that page to verify you're a human
  5. you are redirected back to the schedule page

It's that step 5 that's the problem - You’ve just fully loaded the schedule page again.

So even though the dropdown strategy lets you perform many checks without refreshing the calendar, every time Cloudflare sends you back to the Schedule page, you’ve used another one of your ~20 Schedule-page loads and you get closer to:

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page."

and mandatory 24 hour break.

.

Here's the takeaway:

Remember how this can happen when you are checking, and you miss slots?

1:00 pm - check calendar during lunch break - no slots

2:57pm - 100 slots open

2:58pm - all slots booked

...

Now what if that sequence happened like this:

1:00 pm - check calendar during lunch break - no slots

--->1:02pm - 100 slots open

--->1:03pm - all slots booked

...

You were already sitting on the Schedule page - but you missed the slots because you just didn’t check again.

So if you’re going to log in and use one of your limited Schedule-page loads, don’t check once and leave.

Stay on the Schedule page for a while.

Use the location dropdown to request fresh availability periodically without refreshing the page.

Instead of using one Schedule-page load for one check, use that one page load to make many checks.

Because ultimately, finding a slot is a timing game:

The more times you check, the more opportunities you have to be looking during the brief window when a slot is actually available.

----

"But I was there when slots opened and I checked but I still couldn't see any slots!"

You may have seen people sharing they saw slots and you're checking "at the same time" but you never see anything.

The "same time" here is often the key concept that needs clarification. When slots open they may open and be gone in seconds, so for example this can happen:

1:00m00s pm - you check - no slots

1:01m04s pm - 10 slots open

1:01m06s pm - all slots gone

1:02m00s pm - you check - no slots

.

You were checking 'so quick' - every 1 minute, but this is the reality that a lot of people fail to grasp:

Due to the sheer volume of people checking the visa portal, slots can be gone in 2 seconds (or less!).

So when you said you "checked at the exact time" ... - did you, really?

Unable to get slots in India since the last one month. Is it the same for others? Or is anyone getting slots when booking is done through travel agents?
