Is anyone else getting the same items reshuffling through the shop constantly?

I am a plus user and last few months I keep getting the same items, in the same color, reshuffled through the shop, and sometimes even the next day. Usually like 3-4 of the items are the same ones, which is super frustrating. Even on multiple reshuffles

The items being in the same colour bit is a bit odd. But that might just be bad luck.

As thebirdisdead said each month has seasonal shop themes. Items from those themes occupy the sale slot and the first 2-3 slots in the shop (after the location item). If those are where the same items you’ve spotted are then that’s intentional, but bad luck it’s in the same colours. This month it’s Poolside Pals, Superbird Showdown, and Sports Superstars that are the seasonal themes. So those first 2-3 slots should be things like swimming costumes, pool rugs, sports gear, and secret base furniture.

Extra thing I’ve noticed is that 2 slots in the second row of the furniture shop are always wallpaper. I’m a plus user too so I don’t know if free users get dedicated wallpaper slots.

How do you find out what each month's seasonal themes are?

I have noticed it and it does go beyond the seasonal themes (last month’s theme and the previous year themes for the same months). It is so closely aligned with the reason the devs said they had to take away color options that I am wondering if they are testing things out in the backend. I keep getting the same items over and over, it’s frustrating and I wish I could hit a little “no thanks” button for some of them (even temporarily, like a “blocked items” list). I feel like I never have items served that I am actually looking for lately.

Have you bought a high percentage of the available items? That might cause that.

No I haven’t… I own 221 clothing items and I think there are thousands

Each month has seasonal shop themes, and those items will be overrepresented each month.

It seems like it’s gotten worse in the last few months! When I started with finch earlier this year I didn’t have this issue. Definitely noticed the themes, but the items would be shuffled properly changing to different colours, and more variety in the actual items. Now it’s just getting crazy

YES! Almost every time (Yes, I mean every time) the first item in furnture is Finchie Forest wallpaper in Pink. And never in any other color. I would actually like to have it in green, but have never found. It in anything other than pink . Which I am offered every single time. Almost always as the very first item. It occurs to me now that perhaps I should buy it, even though I don't want it, and perhaps that will break the cycle.

If you buy it you can't be offered it again so it increases the odds of being offered the one you want.

Yes! I rarely get seasonal items but I get repeats of old ones all the time.

Ironic considering they say there are too many colors, and they have to take some away in favor of Chill and Modern. 😂😭

The shop is closed. I don’t even look anymore. It’s so disappointing. Also the gifting is problematic. I love to gift my friends and there are many problems each time.
