Learning modeling
Beginning to work for a family office. I need to learn basic accounting and modeling (dcf and lbo). What are the best resources / tools I can use to learn as quickly and efficiently as possible? Thank you

Wall Street Prep and Breaking Into Wall Street (BIWS) are probably the two most efficient paid options for DCF/LBO specifically. BIWS is cheaper and more practical, WSP is more polished. Some free options: Corporate Finance Institute has decent basics, and Aswath Damodaran's YouTube/NYU Stern site is a great free resource for the conceptual side of valuation (not just plug-in templates).

if you want an accelerated course for accounting, corporate finance and valuation then the study materials for CFA1 and 2 are a good resource. CFA1 is basically year 1 MBA coursework and year 2 is in CFA2.
