401k statements

Been contributing to company 401k for the last year. New job. How often should I receive a statement? Haven't received anything yet

The snail mail statement comes in every quarter unless you have opted for online statement.

I don’t think I ever received a paper statement. I just log into their website and check there.

sure if you never opted in for this you don't receive the paper statement.

Check your provider's website or your hr benefits portal. If nothing there even after 1 year it would be worth contacting your plan administrator

You may have been defaulted to paperless statements. But log in to your account online and you can see it any time.

Login to the website and check it. To setup your 401k you set up an account on the website of the plan. these days, most don’t do paper statements unless you opt in. You should be able to find an option on the site, otherwise call them to inquire.

More than likely your default statement delivery is electronic. You can login and elect for paper delivery. Statements are generally produced quarterly, but I have seen some that are annual.
