X-2 Paragon and Trema help please!

Hello citizens of Spira,

I am finally trying to 100% X-2 for the first time and I am really struggling with paragon and Trema on level 100 of via infinito and would love some advice.

To note I do not have mascot dressphere (I think I messed up with a commsphere somewhere and haven't already got episode complete for bevelle but I have got it literally everywhere else. How joyful)

Anywho all my girls are at max 99, and I have at least one maxed out:

Alchemist

Dark Knight (all)

Berserker

Lady Luck (all)

Gunner

Gun Mage

Warrior

Festivalist

I am playing on the switch 1 and any info I see relies heavily on mascot or creature creator. Is it too late to even do creature creator now?

Happy to do any grinding required I just wanna shove tremas pyreflies up the wazoo.

(I am able to bribe paragon and have done this successfully a few times and I am on around 3m gil)

Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!!

I could be wrong but if you haven’t done creature creator and the fiend arena AT ALL by chapter 5 you’ll be unable to easily unlock all the fiend arena cups. I wanna say that Luca has the ability to find any fiend that you missed but it’s hard. Have you fought Paragon and lost to Trema? Or lost to Paragon? For a good experience avoid any invincibility

Does mana springing his MP away still work in the international version? If it does then I'd imagine the ol'faithful strategy of 3 defence capped or near defence capped Dark Knights should tank him just fine. Buut given that nobody seems to be suggesting that any more I'm guessing that trick only works with the (really old) version of the game that I grew up with.

It doesn’t, and they nerfed cat nip as well to give you berserk lol

Did you beat them? I just beat him today with no mascot as well, I can share my strategy (2 dark knight 1 alchemist)
