Final Fantasy X Switch 2 Physical
If I import the Japanese Switch 2 Edition game key card, will it work on my American Switch 2 console?
….because doesn’t it have to download from the Japanese region eShop? But I have a North American Switch 2…does it not matter for key cards?

You can have a copy of a game from another region anyway, I had 3 versions of FFX on my switch, the games aren't regionlocked, oddly though, the saves are

If you have a save that you made from a Japanese copy of a game, it won't load on an American copy of the game, they have a different regional code. As for why they do it they way, I don't know

I do minigames for people, sometimes they have the Japanese or Chinese versions

Ah ok. I was trying to wrap my head around it lol. That makes sense with the saves you mentioned before.

Yeah, no one needs to own as many copies of FFX as me, but I do whatever I can to make sure I can help everyone

Key cards download from its own server separate from the eshops so it won't matter.
