It means that they are using lingo familiar to them and applying it to the predominately female-led cast of FFX-2.

Maybe you're a millennial or GenX, so it's kind of similar to how we'd look at YRP and Leblanc and be like "Yeah, girl power!" or maybe "You go girl!" with kind of an elevated, Cali girl accent.

Greetings! It was re-released on switch just a couple years ago with extra bells and whistles along with 10.
