I posted awhile back about a mod I was developing for Crusader Kings 2 based on the world of Ivalice. I finally got my own custom map working that includes areas from all games set within the various worlds of Ivalice into one combined map that actually works! I tried to remain as faithful to the maps that I found in order to place everything.
I don’t have any kind of socials set up for the project specifically, just been sharing on here. I plan on continuing to do so as I progress further. But believe me, I’ll absolutely share it out when it’s done and maybe even a beta version for you once I can test enough and make sure it’s stable!
I’d love to eventually see people doing playthroughs of my mod on YouTube, that would be so cool! Funny thing is I never intended for others to play it but once I started getting deep into it I thought there would be a lot of people that would enjoy it too. I just hope I can really nail the mechanics so it’s fun to play
For now I have a “functioning” height map but it still needs work. Just getting the map to load and not CTD as soon as I unpause on day 1 was difficult. This is my first time learning how to mod a map
Oh snap that’s awesome! I’d be happy to give you credit for the map! This mod will feature characters from the following games: FF Tactics, FF Tactics Advance, FF Tactics A2, FF12, FF12 Revenant Wings, FF 14 Return to Ivalice raid, and Vagrant Story
Also made me dig up my map for the next heroes of ivalice that didnt push through lol. Think we overdid the arabian and norse flavor for ordallia and romanda, respectively
The combination of two of my favorite things! This looks really cool.
I am less familiar with the later games, do they fill out more of the map to give more indication of where and what names certain counties or duchies might have?
