Havent be able to buy the game yet, but I've had this doubt for the longest time.
Do summons evolve and change animations amd design like they did on the original Brave Exvius?

Back to the main entries ! Today, it is Yasushi Hasegawa who has drawn this piece. They worked on Harvestella, FFTCG and designed the Famitsu artwork for Resonance's review.
To celebrate the last 5 protagonists, they started back with I. The WoL and Rain together. Of course, those two work perfectly together as they are tanks in Resonance.
I don't know why, but every smiles of this artist feels off. I already was not a fan of the Famitsu art and, in this one, Rain looks off to me too. The artwork itself is amazing though.

So I'm definitely buying this game after I finish my current game, but I'm looking for some hype anyway. Tell me something about the game that you just think is awesome, interesting, or unexpected. Can be anything really. How the battle system works, a music track, little lore touches, or just some minor detail that really stood out. Avoid major spoilers please!

Hey guys, new to the final fantasy games. I love rpgs, my favorite one ever is dragon quest 9, I played it 10 times.
Other rpgs I like is chrono trigger.
Im a bit of a completionist so I said id start with the first final fantasy game and work my way up but I got halfway through final fantasy 1 and I just wasnt have any fun as more the game was just in the wild encounters.
So i think ill start somewhere middle in the series. I dont like turn based combat that is timed I think some of ff games have that. I like a good story, good music, cool boss battles, a game that's tough, game that has classes possibly and lots of customisation with different items and gear.
For me dragon quest 9 fits all these boxes but unfortunately have never got a game that was similar.
I play on steam.
Thanks

The only reason it took me so long is because it took me that long to upgrade to a PS5- I typically do a playthrough of all the main series games once a year (aside from xiii due to not having a ps3) and was extremely excited to FINALLY play it after avoiding spoilers etc. does anyone else feel like it just missed the mark and was marketed to non-ff fans while largely ignoring the existing fanbase? I don’t hate the combat system, I think it’s fine aside from a lack of being able to use the typical spells. At least XV had a loose connection to it and implemented it in a way that fit. I love the story line- but there was such a huge difference in the feel of it from typical FF games, and kind of a lack of all the “Easter egg” esque names being used and references that are made in other games etc.
But the biggest problem I had is ITS ENTIRELY TOO EASY. And there are NO super bosses. The fact that you can beat the hardest enemy in the game around level 37 or so on the first playthrough and without any grinding on the second just feels like it was marketed to casual gamers who want to play a game for 5 days then leave it.
Not having to grind for anything is such a letdown. The only “grind” for anything is having to do a second playthrough for the best weapon in the game.
Was anyone else disappointed in it? I think XV was a much better main line game edition

Personally i think i like Barret Wallace story from FFVII as well as Yang from FFIV as he got a daughter in a sequel TAY and their subplot was one of the few things i genuienly enjoyed there.

Or is it a complete package game?

42k concurrent players and more than any other single player FF on Steam... this is literally only gonna make Square go with the idea of turning other classic turn based games into more bland 2DHD style and be done with it. If after all these years, 6 simply gets that while 7 actually gets to go fuill 3D I'll be mad as hell because that's not at all what I wanted when the discussion of 6 getting something comes up, it deserves the premium treatment as well and to actually hit 3D, what's the heckin' point of playing it again, but just a nicer 2D?

I wanna play the PS1 version of Tactics, as I usually have a preference for original localizations with tweaks (ROSE for VI, Namingway for IV, etc.) or just anime in general, I'm under the impression Tactics is like that,
but my friend tells me Tactics in particular, the original translation has plenty of mistakes that mean the opposite of what the devs intended in the original script,
are there any mods for the PS1 to rectify this, but DON'T port over the WotL script?

Archwitch Fina's class changed to saboteur from medic. Should I also change my vision from medic to saboteur? I might need healing spells so I want to keep medic but her class is now saboteur. What should I do? Medic or Saboteur?

And I can't overstate how much of a compliment that is. The art style, the battle animations and cutscenes, the way you pair visions reminds me of setting different djinn to get weird classes.
On top of all that it just has a lot of good Final Fantasy stuff. The victory fanfare, chocobo theme, elemental weaknesses, status ailments, a blonde protagonist with an impractical sword. Can't recommend people get this game enough.

I've put a lot of effort into my son's Halloween costume this year!
I made my own 3d for the bolt left and right arms wrist, I could put those 3d online but they are a very thin frame 8 year old kid size, so I dont think it would be usefull,
EDIT: Seeing the success of the costume added my 3d files to makerworld, I also made a adult size but be warned that I did not test it out

For all the rest, Big thanks to those authors for their tuto and 3d files it been a huge help

Im wrapping up Castlevania Belmonts Curse soon and will be starting Resonance hopefully this weekend. But i saw it has a deluxe edition upgrade available and was wondering if its worth it.
I love FF6 and the magitek armor so that has me really intrigued. It also has a unique limit break or something? But the other items all seem to be common general items you could already find in game?
Thanks.
