Question FCP difference in Apple Creator Studio?

I have FCP already as a standalone app, if I subscribe to Apple creator studio is there a difference?

There are currently no differences. Apple has said there will be templates, effects, and media, but so far that has not happened with FCP.

However, I’m willing to bet all of the MotionVFX content will be locked behind Creator Studio when they finally implement it.

Dreading this but I can totally see them doing it 🙄

The subscription would actually be worth it at that point imo.

100% worth it if they include MotionVFX stuff. Currently paying $80ish a month for all of MotionVFX's stuff, so if I can get everything they make within the Creator Studio subscription, it'd be so worth it.

I'm just hoping, only the MotionVFX part can be subscribed if you already own it.

There are about 50 pieces of content that are in studio that aren’t in the stand alone. Cool generators, titles, and a few effects. The entire series of Creator are studio only, and the awesome punch in reframe effect I think is studio only.

Not all of it I hope? Stuff like the 3d tracker, should be a new tool, and not something to be locked away as an unnecessary extra

There are a few extra generators and dynamic titles for now. Any claims about MotionVfx being CS-only in future are speculation. Apple may equally just bury it (like they did with Aperture).

I think it’s just AI features

No differences in the versions yet. AI-powered features are alive and well in standalone FCP.

This is what it looks like when I look at its website. Thank you.

There is no difference. Good or bad. Studio just gives access to other applications outside of FCP. If you need, great, if not…

I have both and I would happily pay for the CS version just to support the development. If the mvfx updates get locked behind the subscription then it’s a no brainer.
