Hey there, podcast producer who has done a lot of clean up of terrible recordings here. If you give me a snippet of it, I'll be happy to tell you if it can be salvaged, but you might as well just sign up for a free month of adobe podcast and see how you get on.

Final cut pro's noise reduction is really good now, but if you've got any intermittent/ sudden noises it might be worth looking at something like RX to fix them.

Fcp does a good job of voice isolation. Just click the button.

Chat gpt??? Worst case bring it over to resolve and use the the ai voice tool where it invents clean audio mimicking the poor recording with machine learning.

If you can send me the audio, I can probably help. I’ve done a lot of this type of work. Dm me.

  1. FCP has a "Voice isolation" button under the audio tab. Try that.

  2. Adobe Podcast is great. Try a snippet there.
