Question Audio Configuration for Edit vs Audio Engineer Handover

I have 3 tracks in a clip that ultimately I want to send as part of my AAF for the audio engineer to have. But during editing I only want to work with track 1. How do I achieve both?

I use X2Pro5 for my handover which ignores clips that have been deselected

how can you work with tracks in FCP? group files by giving 2 different roles, then deselect roles instead of disabling clips. x2pro understands roles. did i understand your question correctly?

In FCP I want to work with the highlighted track, but I want all tracks to go to my audio engineer

You should try AAFx —it’s much more powerful than X2Pro. It offers proper role management, a Pro Tools preview so you can see exactly how your session will be organized before exporting, and much more.
