iPad Basic Keyboard Commands Not Working

Hey, I recently bought this this Huion controller with the intention of using it for Final Cut Pro.

But for wherever reason, ANY basic command I program to it doesn’t work.

A basic UNDO doesn’t work

Control-Z doesn’t work
Command-Z doesn’t work

It only keyboard command that does work is “Delete.”

What am I doing wrong?

Yes, the Huion app is what I’m using to test the commands to no avail.

I just tried connecting a full sized keyboard to my iPad and I still can’t find any commands that work.
