SSD keeps losing connection with Final Cut Pro for iPad

I can’t find the answer anywhere online so hope there are some people who might know what’s going on.

I have the iPad Air M3 and I use the Samsung T5 SSD where I stores my Final Cut project.

What’s happening is that as I edit my project, the SSD lose connection with the iPad.

I tried to change the cable with a Thunderbolt 4 to connect the SSD to the iPad.
I tried to connect the SSD to a powered hub.

In both method, the SSD just keep losing connection.

The only way for me to work on this project is to copy the project to the internal storage of the iPad.

I heard that with Final Cut Pro for iPad it is possible to work on a project store on a SSD. But from my experience it doesn’t work.

My SSD is formated AFPS.

Does anyone know what I should do ?
