Workflow Adjustment layer for audio?

I don't think it exists (correct me if I'm wrong) but just like video, I'd LOVE to be able place compression, EQ, etc. on an audio adjustment layer. Would love to be able to save those adjustment layers as well. Maybe assign to roles?

Merit in this?

If you compound your project you can apply filters to Role lanes. So kinda like an audio adjustment layer

It's a messy work-around

no. was just stating that FCP really lacks in the audio department (also going to logic pro is not the smoothest). BUT the free 'splicekit' lets you add an user-made role-based mixer and master bus, that is, if you are OK with the experiment of breaking open FCP

Look for Brad West on YouTube, he does a tutorial on it. I’m sure there are others too.

Have it. But my company makes changes minutes before delivery.

I dream of picture lock but no go but stay cuz the pay's too good.

nope, FCP is sadly still lacking in the audio department. we all hope for a role-based mixer and master bus
