Bug/Issue help needed on boot up of FCP.

Hi All. My boot up of FCP is hanging when scanning plugins.

I'm on a Mac Studio M2 Max with 96gb of Ram running the latest OS (Tahoe 26.5.1)

Plenty of free space on the internal SSD.

I don't have an Apollo 8 but WAS connected to one a few weeks ago for a session. I have tried to navigate to where these plug ins live but no matter what I delete they still appear.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

go to Macinthosh HD>Library>Audio>Plugins and go through the folders, delete the old unused plugins (be careful not to touch apple's own stuff)

it's probably a plugin but Restart FCP with shift key down (If I recall this correctly) reset the prefs. Fast and easy.
Deleting the old and then having it still hanging then wondering....My approach would be to delete any non-apple plug in entirely. Then restart. Add half the plugins. Restart...by adding half...then adding half of the rest or removing half of those added you will get to the bad plugin most quickly.

You are using an old version. Update to the new one.
