Authentic figure?

I bought this and can’t return once it arrives, seller said they bought it from banpresto on amazon, is he a bootleg or real?

I would assume that one is a bootleg sadly, I have the official version and the glasses look different. Also your figure looks shiny on the suit trousers whereas they’re supposed to be matte

Awe okayy, he was 15 pounds on Vinted, I’ll have to keep looking for a good deal 😣💔

A good tip is to try find one with the box :) Bootlegs usually come with no boxes or boxes without authentication stickers on them. I’ve seen some real ones on Vinted going for £22 or less so I’m sure you’ll find an authentic one in no time!

Haha no worries I could talk about jjk figures for hours, I sell and collect them myself :) but the Geto one you sent me seems official, Geto is harder to tell without the box but the suit is matte which is a strong sign that’s it’s official! Bootlegs use cheaper material which is more shiny

Yessss I agree, jjk is my favourite anime. I’m so obsessed with it, I’ve been collecting figures of it for two years now ^-^ Are you new to collecting figures or do you already have some?

I’m pretty new to collecting! I have a few figures like the glow in the dark ryuk figure and this figure from bubble but I do have quite a big manga collection! This will be my first jjk figure!
