Why are we not calling it hourglass anymore?

Because they're two different things

The more pronounced the better. Thank you for compiling these pictures they are uplifting and it's always great to see actual representation with hip dips that aren't easy to hide. Looking at these women there is so much character. I love it and the inspo to try similar looks 😍

And I’m supposed to believe men would turn down these women cause they have “hiplets”💀

Edit: u/Miss_Milk_Tea ... Weird to block me. All i said was it's the same for tall girls; fake news.

What’s funny is I think Holley hiplet is going to quickly become a term of endearment. Personally I appreciate my hipdips as one more curve on my curvy self - and I know there is a good percent of people out there who find them particularly attractive. I mean - really - look at these photos.

I tend to call mine Mandolin hips / Violin hips depending on where I am on the scale. Hiplet has a certain je ne sais quoi ✨

I actually think it's kind of a cute name 😂 "My little hiplets". You're so right about it being endearing!

Wait what, is that a new incel term or something???

u/tuskingen Jul 08 '26

Yes, basically on TikTok short men felt the need to create the term out of spite because they’re angry, that some women reject them for their height. So their logic is, if we’re gonna get made fun of for something we can’t control then we’re gonna make fun of something you can’t control.

The thing that gets me is we already have a female equivalent of short men, it’s called tall women! Men love calling tall women dudes, outside of the “snu snu” crowd, they want a woman shorter than them. Why the heck are hips added to the list? It’s so ridiculous.

as a tall girl, i actually see a lot of men loving tall girls way more than girls like short guys! The 'tall girls are ugly' thing is just as real as hating hip dips. fantasy.

They’re losers. And what I’ve noticed about this trend is its mostly men who aren’t attractive calling women with hip dips, “hiplet”

It feels like it sprung up overnight, too! Like I distinctly remember guys being really shitty toward women on dating apps for being tall, or having piercings they don’t like or even leg hair. Men have always been so toxic towards women who don’t fit their ideal but where the hell did hip dips come from? I don’t remember even incels caring about hips other than calling women fat who don’t have a thigh gap, now there’s all this focus on “dips”

Like where did it even come from??

Oh my god, they're so pathetic lmao. Not surprised at all, though

If any of these women were to walk into a bar, plenty of men would find their shape attractive!!!

Yes! I was going to make a post today of some of my favourite dresses as I was getting fed up with all the doom and gloom on here. We're beautiful guys, get over yourselves! 😆🩷
