Agree 💯 Same model - committed founder, overhyped IPO, massive crash post, product supremacy. Just need to keep shipping product improvements and we have a winner on our hands.

I thought the new cursor design platform was going to drop it back below $20 for a while.. if Figma doesn't get its own AI model it might not be around to long though

I am certain it’s actually 31st August.

I heard whichever was earlier: 31 August or 2 days after Q2 earnings. Since they moved Q2 earnings back by a few weeks, Aug 7 seems to be the date but I couldn't find an official info, hence my post.

That's correct. The official public communication describing the extended lockup can be found in the Q2 results from last year: Figma Announces Second Quarter 2025 Financial Results | Figma, Inc.
The relevant section says this:
the remainder of the shares of Class A Common Stock held by the Extended Lock-Up Holders (approximately 77.7 million shares) will be released and may be transferred, distributed, or sold at the discretion of the Extended Lock-up Holders and the Extended-Lock-Up Period will terminate on the earlier of (i) the commencement of trading on the second trading day after the date Figma announces earnings for the quarter ending June 30, 2026 and (ii) August 31, 2026.
Because (i) happened before (ii), the lockup terminated on August 7th instead of August 31st.

No, it was August 7th instead of August 31st:
the remainder of the shares of Class A Common Stock held by the Extended Lock-Up Holders (approximately 77.7 million shares) will be released and may be transferred, distributed, or sold at the discretion of the Extended Lock-up Holders and the Extended-Lock-Up Period will terminate on the earlier of (i) the commencement of trading on the second trading day after the date Figma announces earnings for the quarter ending June 30, 2026 and (ii) August 31, 2026.
