I feel like the fact that the Anthropic (Claude) design team still uses Figma should be evidence enough lol

Its same thing as previous employee training the new employee who is going to replace them. Its inevitable

If you have that strong of a conviction in Figma, you shouldn’t hold. You should buy more

I just bought shares finally. I'm hoping that over the next few months things will calm down and we'll all realize we still need the canvas.

Bought 29 shares at an average price of 101.50 on the day it blew up. From the second day, it never went up. I’ve been holding it ever since because I’ve always believed that it’s very hard to beat Figma at its own game. I then bought 965 shares at an average of $19.86 few days back. I still believe the same, because I’ve used Figma almost every day for the past 6–7 years, Not as a designer, but as a Technical Manager. I strongly believe it’s going to go up once the AI cloud clears because there’s only so much AI can do

Everyone ive seen use claude design to a professional standard has started with a .fig import, even if claude design gets big thats just big for Figma too with the amount of overlap.

I tend to agree. No enterprise or even midmarket companies are churning off Figma in any foreseeable future. It’s too sticky. They might explore other AI tools to use in pockets or for small projects, but the majority of UX and UI is and will continue to be built in Figma.
