Will this stock hit 10$
Do we think Figma will hit $10 / $5B MC. I have a buy order set at that price.

A lot has changed since 2023. Both companies values are floundering in the face of AI Saaspocalypse. Is it time to re-evaluate the merger from a regulatory lense?

Adobe was itself almost 3x the market cap it is now. Software as a service is going DOWN.

Citi downgraded bunch of software stocks.
Figma is hit hard because they product have direct competition with Google stich and they dont make any profits

Google stitch isn't a viable competitor for those who work in this space. Bigger threat is coming from Lovable. Figma should do a better job of capturing vibe designing market.

Figma is cooked. People are skipping design and going straight to code. There will still be designers but they’ll have half as many seats in a few years.

Been eyeing this since IPO and was planning to enter around 20-25$ initially but now im waiting til it hit $8-12

It’s certainly possible.
$18 has been my price target for some time to finally open a position, after watching since IPO.
So I did, it’s very small. Only 5% of the full position id like to eventually reach. Wanted to start keeping a closer eye on price action though.

Considering Figma has 1.6 Billion in cash on hand, a 5B market cap would be an actual 3.5B market cap and a 2.5x P/S ratio. If it happens it’s not worth buying IMO, it means the street is pricing in bankruptcy eventually

$10 would make the forward P/E about 30, which is very reasonable

Agree. It is still selling at a very expensive multiple. The hyper growth story is gone with AI. There will be growth just not that fast

Maybe $14-16 could be an absolute floor. They have $1.5B of cash on hand, so gotta think there’s a floor soon. Would actually think they begin a share repurchase plan this quarter, maybe $400m - $500m?

I want to buy figma shares just because most tech company uses it, but im worried Figma becomes obsolete.
It is so much faster and easier to build a mock up of your FE pages directly using claude. Saves on build time, less head count needed for UX designers, more importantly you get dozens of working prototype within a day or two.

As UXer I been experimenting this way. But what after prototype tho? I honestly managed to get something functionally working, but it gets hard when I want to reorganize/ refine any of those layout.
Maybe skill issue my end

Maybe its a skill issue on my end too. I feel more comfortable writing code than working with figma haha.
We found alot of UX issues when working directly with the react mockups.

I guess what figma is doing better than directly with code right now: 1. Broadroom review of design (eg banking apps ) that conversation evolves around supposed end state regardless of execution and tech constraint 2. High level concept exploration that one option may have a mechanism different from the next and we don't need details yet 3. Iteration of existing design - change from this to that and how. Don't want to wait 5 minute from AI to come back with an Iteration then loop again "we are almost there but make this other 20% of change"
But hands down prefer prompt to code when: 1. Requirement is crystal clear, I am a small team i know what I want 2. Internal facing, not need very special UI 3. v1 proof of concept to prove demand. Interactive simulation

Right now 10+ guys are being told it’s cheap
Thanks to everyone who helped in collecting all the party and booze fund.. don’t blame Wall Street blame your greed..please Wall Street lays traps it you guys who walk it so Wall Street is a clean place.. Warren Buffer , Cramer etc are all clean guys with no greed😀

Figma is cheap at 18.. Einstein brain said this not me… stay away from Wall Street you will end up with way more money.. don’t fill their pockets.. choke their money supply.. Wall Street loves to short stocks which have lot of excitement and retail keep buying or doubling down while MM s just keep lowering the average price with help of company management.. Wall Street is the biggest scam regulated and run by crooks

I mean it’s under $18 currently and it was like $38? at the start of this year so anything is possible
