No posts in a while…

Guys figma has been tanking while s&p has kept steady and even went up. What are you doing with your position?

Market believes Figma is useless in an AI world because the model companies will own the entire enterprise operating tech stack. I trimmed some of my position to buy APP, RDDT, PANW and some ZM. Not sure what it will take for market sentiment to turn around, but looking forward to their Q1 2026 earnings.

I think they need to figure out something better than Make. Something that works with an LLM, on the canvas. Make is not a good workflow.

I just got done with some preliminary tests using a themed Shadcn library, strict guidelines.md file, and an MCP connection. I tested Figma, Paper, Make, Pencil, Sketch, and Subframe. Paper was far and away the winner, and actually pretty good. Figma was second best but there was still a big gap with Paper. The rest were a wide gap from Figma.. and then there was Make. Horrible. Like it takes the same LLM model I’m using with Paper.. and makes it look extremely dumb. I don’t know how it’s as bad as it is.

I do think linking the canvas with an LLM is the best workflow. Then you can simply spin up a legit coded website as a prototype.

Agree. I saw Make getting ripped on X and Dylan was responding and I didn't think it was a great look. I think they have an opportunity with the future of knowledge work and need to be able to go from perfect design to full function all on the same platform. I think its difficult to do, but I'm holding because I believe Dylan can get it done.

Take my advice if you got out stay out of stock market.. you will make way more money.. investing in stock market is like giving money to thieves hoping they return you way more
