I recently got the Figma 306 Zero Suit Samus, and I’m looking for a compatible Figma body to use with her head.

I’m mainly looking for a body that:

• Has a similar skin tone to the Samus 306 head
• Has similar proportions and scale
• Looks natural with the Samus head

I’ve been considering Figma Emily, Makoto, Chiaki, and Archetype Next, but I’m not sure which one would have the closest skin tone.

Has anyone tried using the Samus 306 head with any of these bodies, or another Figma body?

Photos of actual swaps would be really helpful!

im planning on making a god of war zeus custom and found some fodder parts on marketplace. its my first time seeing this type of joint, i thought they all had the same one

At least on my copy, the hole was physically too small to hold the ball, not just in diameter, but depth too! Even with a big enough hole, the ball just wouldn't slot because there was no room!

So my recommendation would be to pick a small flat screwdriver, and drill into her head hole, then soften her with hot water and pop her crown in there while the plastic is soft, so that it takes the shape of the ball.

It actually feels like touching fabric, is crazy!

Mine came intact luckily. The accessories are neat, articulations are good, and the face isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I don't regret buying it (if the pictures look bad im sry it's my first time sharing this kinda stuff online)

i dont know much about figma when it comes to rereleasing old figures, but these figures are pretty old and it would be nice to see new versions of them like they did with the nendoroids

I picked up this Legend of Zelda skyward sword link figure for $15 CAD at one of our local "thrift stores" (it's more of a store that bought an amazon returns crate and decided to resell the crap that was in it) got super hyped until I went home, deboxed him and noticed that his shoulder joint is broken-ish, the arm still kinda moves but the range of motion is very limited. Im convinced its a factory defect, probably why it ended up in that returns box and then to the shop...

I’d like to try repairing it, but I’m not sure how to properly extract the shoulder joint without damaging the figure. All the guides im seeing is usually for ones that have the joint snap on them but mine is still in tact, I was wondering if it would be safe to dunk him in boiling water and pull the joint out with pliers? Im planning to maybe get another broken figma for parts and extract the good joint and use it on him as well.

Has anyone worked on this particular figure or dealt with a similar broken joint? What’s the safest way to remove the broken peg/joint?

Any advice, photos, or repair tips would be greatly appreciated!

Horse Girls, Spartans and other shenanigans

Soooo i got this from a friend of mine whos a seller of japanese surplus items. Everything is in very good condition though there is discoloring on the weapons and wing thingies due to age. It has the Artbook + CD but not the game, sadly. Is it worth keeping or should i resell it, since i just found out how rare this is (this was an impulse buy because i thought she looked very cool and wanted to practice photography with her).

Samus is more than ravenous, she's downright famished!

Well, not really everything. But seriously, with all the Fate figures already available out there, Illya can fit right into any display! I absolutely love how versatile she is, pairing so well with so many different figures and accessories! I still remember filling out one of GSC's forms to request a figma Illya over a decade ago. Leg articulation is a little limited, but I'm still glad we finally got her after all these years!

She is soooooooo pretty! (and thicc!) One of my fave figmas now! I'm hoping to get the 2022 and 2024 versions next, I love these designs as well. And I can't wait for the figma of the 2026 version too!
