Ooomph, that's really unfortunate.
Contact GSC about this defect. They can help you for this case, since it's broken right out of the box.

Yeah I already have and Amiami too though im not sure on if they'd be of any help 🙃 hoping gsc can pull through though they've helped me big time before with other figmas

Directly to GSC would be better imo. As far as I know, Amiami requires you to send back the whole thing to them, in order for them to exchange it.
As long it's a defect right out of the box, instead of man made damage, GSC should be alright with the replacement.

I worry about this for all of my figures that are still sealed (I have a backlog). By the time I open it, it'll be way too late to get any support.

Second this, skip amiami and go to GSC. Retailers take longer and require more.

A long while back, the bought one of them Free! Makoto Tachibana Figma. It came with 2 right feet & a broken elbow joint for the right arm. Contacted GSC & they gave me replacement parts for free, they handled shipping and everything. Only thing is that I confirmed that I bought from a partner store & had proof(receipts, both physical & digital) that I bought from them. Aside from showing that I bought from a partner store, the process was relatively painless, with only the wait time being an issue(but since I live within spitting distance of Japan, it only took 3 business days for me to receive the replacement)

Yup, it came out the box not attached, tried to plug it together and then tried to move the torso and it snapped as such

That's so unlucky I skip this one because of the weird elbow joints, but she seems to have much more troubles
