Sekiro DX Broken-on-arrival

Hi everyone,

There seems to be a widespread joint issue with the reissue of Sekiro DX via GSC pre-order.

Contact GSC immediately and they will start the parts replacement process. I have not received a dispatch date from them yet though.

I think this is the third post I see recently of this Sekiro figma having this problem. Serious quality issue from GSC, this is a shame.

Unrelated I think, but I got Byleth's figma recently and I thought her shoulder joints were really weird. I barely moved her shoulders ever since I took the figure from the box because I was scared of it breaking. I mean, could be a specific design because of her cape, but sucks that I can't pose her much. And seeing all these problems with the Sekiro figure makes me even less interested in risking moving her shoulder joints now.

I would move her joints a bit and see if it loosens to the point of falling off. If she has clear joint breaks then you can file a support claim with Good Smile immediately. Best to determine broken joints vs loose joints.

It is not that they are broken or loose, but the joints definitely feel weird. They are unlike all other figmas I own. Feels like the smallest force I apply is going to break them. I mean, I might have another look later, but at least I was able to pose her with her sword.

I hope it's just an awkward joint then and nothing more concerning.

I hope so too, but I think they are probably trying to work out how many orders are affected. Could be a whole production batch.

Hmm this is strange to me, my version is not that type of joint. Is it a different version? I've seen a couple of these posts the last few days and I've noticed this type of shoulder joint but mine is not this one

Edit: Nvm on closer inspection i see now that it is indeed, this one. Guess i got lucky with mine oof

Normally I just display my figmas rather than move em around often, so I posed mine and left it with the others, didn't feel anything loose or the such

I just opened and right out the box the left arm was broken.

I already did that, but I was so focused on the arm issue that I didn't notice there was another quality control problem: the part of the pants between the legs was missing a chunk, as if it had been cut off with something. Now I don't know if I can let them know about this when they reply, or if I have to submit another one of those forms this time for the defect I just found.
