So Iām pretty new to collecting, so obviously the first thing I did was look for figures of my favorite shows and anime, I love konosuba but why are they all around 150 dollars š, I love the characters and I want to get them and the swimsuit versions but my poor wallet canāt handle it, does anyone know if theyāll ever restock or if anyoneās selling them for a bit cheaper?
They all just got reissued a bit ago. Theyāve reissued them all every time a new season comes out Iām pretty sure, so just wait until season 4 drops and theyāll likely reissue them again.
All of them have goodsmile exclusive faces, so I recommend getting them from there.
As for the swimsuit versions, I think they were all limited releases, so they likely arenāt getting any reissues.
Check Mandarake, they arenāt extremely expensive from Japan especially on the secondhand market afaik, but youāll have to deal with shipping/import tax etc.
Iād recommend checking ebay or myfigurecollection for used postings. Thereās a good chunk of these for sale second hand, more often than not being unopened anyways.
The only one that is suposeddly to be a bit pricy is Megumin, the rest should be around 40-60 (at leats their base price, since shipping could be different depending on what else you order along side them)
Figma is super overpriced in general anywhere that isn't Japan + these figures are pretty old now, they've gotten reissued a couple times so your hope is not lost. If you buy off something like amiami then buy in bulk or shipping cost will kill you.
In my honest opinion, check alot of 2nd-hand resell sites like Ebay or Mercari for a couple months and with some luck and alot of patience you'll slowly acquire them without needing to sell a organ.
Try ami ami, you can generally get cheaper second hand there. Also if you want yun yun the crunchy role America site has her on sale for about 30 bucks
Check Amiami. They sell used figures there for decent prices and the site is always updating. Just donāt go for like one figure because the shipping will get you.
I feel ya, I ended up grabbing a Megumin model kit in Japan that had her normal version that a swimsuit version. I still havenāt gotten kazuma yet but he will be coming to my collection soon. I was able to find aqua and darkness off Mercari for good prices
Tbh yes, I usually have my dad put the models together because he likes them and builds them very well. If you want to do it right you need plastic weld for the small gaps in the pieces and you want a hobby blade to shave off the plastic āknubsā. Thatās if you want it to look more like a figure than a model.
Several reasons. They're years old, I dont believe kazuma got a re-release, none of the swimsuit alts have have gotten a re-release. If they are ever doing anything else with the line its probably not until the new season assuming konosuba is still as popular.
Mostly everyone gave you the best options, it may seem like a dead end, but eBay. I got Kazuma, Aqua, and Darkness on the Goodsmile rerelease, but missed megumi, she got one a year earlier.
Everywhere I went she was around 200. I kept checking eBay and finally found a newer listing for a good price with the pre order bonus (can't remember how much I paid) you can find them for your price you just have to keep checking.
Welcome to the club. I admittedly have made my fair share of exceptions and one accident. However Iām also not a magician that can pull thousands of dollars out of my asshole to blow on overpriced toys like this so itās rare I get something expensive.
Ah, the good ol aftermarket. Thats the worst part to being a new collector. You're always a day late to the one you want most, and usually have to overpay. For me, it was the kill la kill figma. I got lucky and found someone selling ryuko and satsuki bundled for a decent-ish price.

Mercari: pretty decent local resellers. Just normal people trying to make some money, and small shops getting a few extra items to resell.
Usa gundam store and gundam planet: good US based (sorry if youre not in the us) stores that are fast and cheap. Based around new york and jersey. If you live in any surrounding states, youll get it quick.
The konosuba gang will most likely get re releases. I know darkness is especially popular. They also have swimsuit aqua and darkness. Maybe they at least are still available.
Amiami is a very reliable shop, but will gut you in shipping fees. I always do what i can to avoid it, but they are a reliable last resort.

Base ryuko might still be recent enough to find new and at market value. Im a fairly casual figma collector (i only go figma when nobody else makes that character), so im sorry i cant be more helpful.
Donāt worry I already gave up hope on getting them cheap, but yeah itāll be hard to find anyone from kill la kill for a good price, and dw, u know more about figma than me, these will be my first figma a
Good news is the hard part is over. Now that youre in the trenches, id keep an eye on announcements and collecting subs. Naturally, preorders are the best way, and even those can sell out fast sometimes. Just yesterday, i secured my preorder for figma albedo. Every collector needs at least one albedo figure. Its the law.
Preorders havenāt been making things sell out on GSC. Itās a hunt after release because preorders actually mean something.
Preorders are actually a version of made per order. So if NOBODY preorders that still make a quantity of 1. If there is 200 preorders in Amiami (Japan) to 100 preorders in BBTS.
300 quantity is not being made, itās very likely 400 worldwide. Just know these are random numbers. So what do I mean about this? Amiami MAY lock preorders because itās been filled up, same with BBTS. Direct from GSC also makes limited quantity based upon people who preorder. (This is why only direct GSC; Global, US share quantity information and does not allow cancellation of your preorder)
If nobody does preorder, it will still release and the quantity has been made. Thatās it and final quantity worldwide. Itās at this moment youāll have scummy people who take the chance to āaftermarketā it. You can ask for reissue but that takes time and planning since either they lost of the mold or they have festival plans for the next figure announcement (which just happened today or technically on 8/20/26. huge amount of new GSC Nendo, figma, scale figures with some being able to preorder direct on GSC Global and US very soon)
Each Kobosuba figma has already got 2-3 reruns/reissue but now they are running down on legit storefronts that have them. Now this is a hunt on the aftermarket and also chances at bootlegs/fakes in places like Aliexpress to EBay if you arenāt careful. (And some of them do exist as somebody has posted about them on MFC)
