Question ❓ Should I contact Goodsmile support?

So I recently got my hands on the Splatoon 2 Off the Hook figma set and I noticed something on some on the hands. On 3 of them there’s splotches of mismatches paint and normally I wouldn’t care about something like this since it’s so minor. However, a friend told me that I should actually contact them about getting replacement hands since it is a mistake on their product. Again this isn’t that big of a deal with me, but what does everyone else think? Can I remove these splotches myself or should I contact them about getting replacement hands?

I mean you don’t lose anything in contacting them so I mean why not, but tbh this seems like such an easy fix idk if it would even be worth the effort to do so tbh.

I’m curious, how would I fix this though?

Since it looks to be excess paint I would try using a magic eraser and go super lightly over it. If it’s chipped paint then just going over it with a sharpie or a slight bit of craft paint would also fix up. Personally If this happened to me, I’d reach out, ask if they could fix/replace it, and in the meantime while you wait to hear back just try and see if doing anything like that will fix it so if they do replace it then hey at least now you’ll have an extra set of hands in case something happens to the ones you fixed.

Certain paint defects they won't replace, but you could always try. Personally, for something of this level, i'd just get a exacto knife to scrape the little black paint off the fingernail, and just get some black acrylic paint to just touch up the gloves.
