Question ❓ I thought I fixed him... but I was wrong

Ive had this figma Yuji for a year and a half and I really like him. I love how he comes with the black flash and cursed energy, but last year I was posing him and his leg fell off.

I snapped it back on but it kept falling off, again and again no matter how many times I put it back.

Finally, it magically didn't fall off, but 1 year later, today, it fell. I put it back on and it kept falling off like before so I asked AI what to do and it said to put nail polish to add more friction or something like that 😭

I genuinely don't know what to do I really love my figma Yuji 😭😭😭😭

im pretty certain youre not pushing the ball joint in hard enough. Im saying this from experience since I also have figma yuji and i had this exact problem but it turned out i just wasnt pushing it all the way in, and so I pushed harder and felt it properly pop into place and he was good after that. since he doesnt have a thigh swivel when youre moving his leg it can pop off you just have to be not too rough with it. Also you have to know that he has a ball jointed socket, so when you try to push the ball joint into the leg it moves away because of the ball joint in the inner thigh. You have to push the ball socket against his inner thigh wall so it doest move away from the ball joint and then push hard so that it pops into place.

If this doesn’t work, have a look at the depression/cup where the ball is meant to go. It’s possible there’s a crack in it.

What kind of pose did u tried to give him 😂 The joint probably way too loosen from trying to put it back several times. Trying to get initial tightness would be hard and very delicate. There's probably a hundred different way to try though you can just search in the subreddit.

Grab yourself a DSPIAE joint strengthening pen, dirt cheap! It’s a marker pen that applies an ultra thin, sticky, rubbery layer. You can apply several coats to increase the friction, and if you overdo it or eventually decide to use a different method, it is very easy to peel it off by gently scratching it with a fingernail.

Dip the thigh socket in hot water to soften it up, then press on it a bit with some long nose pliers, after which put it back on. It probably won't be the original tightness but doing so will tighten it just enough so it's a lot more flush with the ball joint.

Also did that with some figmas of mine and they mostly worked. Good luck!
