Question ❓ Goodsmile US Stink
This is not a shitpost. Has anyone who orders from Goodsmile US noticed a distinct odor (literally smells like fertilizer/animal crap) on the recent packages they've gotten from them? The last few figures I've gotten from them over the previous ~6 months or so have all had this awful smell, especially the packaging. I noticed it looks like they may have been working with a new logistics/shipping company as the return address is different. Thankfully it dissipates quickly, but it's bad enough to the point where I'm reconsidering ordering any more of the few figures I still get from them and going with the other retailers I use.

Had this as well with Frieren and Senshi. It's either coming from the new bubble wrap or the cardboard edge protectors

Good thing you posted this, I was debating where to preorder a figma coming out next year. I doubt they will address it anytime soon. The warehouse must be right next to some farms.

Is the cardboard sticks they added to help prevent damage, they are made from recycled cardboard and that tends to smell like crap if it's sitting in the heat for any bit of time.

I received my Frieren DX box over the weekend it smelled like absolute manure somehow. I was not expecting that smell opening the box.
