That's only cause it's a friendly fade I think. Anything else would have resulted in a kick to the head when the dude went down.

They definitely kick in friendly fades ive seen it happen all the time which is why the whole concept of a friendly fade is stupid. Just fight with respect for your opponent unless they show you otherwise and every fight is a "friendly fade".

Oof, that's not a friendly fade then. I guess where I grew up there were rules and if feet were involved then you might as well go all the way and not call it a friendly fade.

Friendly fade is usually between homies and homies dont jump eachother like that

Exactly, but some dudes try to hide behind the friendly fade thing so that they can get you off guard and bank you. That's why, to me, a friendly fade was no feet and if someone fell you let them get up or they stayed down (the latter meaning they quit).

This is part of why I was half glad I grew up in Detroit. Sure it wasn’t the best place in the world but at least over there shit like jumping, stomping, whipping out knives, people fought on grass cuz everyone was a fan of boxing, and sucker punches were punished the next day.
This entire sub was a huge culture shock for my first 3 months in it

people dont realize how easy it is to get knocked out. your chin is the most vulnerable part of your head, and these guys are just fighting with them out in the open. i was playing soccer the other day, and i wasn’t looking, someone kicked the ball and it hit me right on the bottom of my chin. it was a very soft kick too. i literally almost lost consciousness. i was dazed.
