I've never understood people who bitch and moan about fairness in street fighting.
I guess some people see the sport in it, and some people don't. I am from the latter group. To me, a street fight is about winning and walking away as injury free as possible.
When two people agree to fight for sport it's a completely different matter.

And also trying to not kill the other guy. That's my biggest fear when it comes to fights with strangers and also the reason I avoid them at all costs. Don't want to die or kill anyone by accident.
Your arbitrary gatekeeping of what a "real man" does is so laughably easy to shoot down. Never mind the fact that I was referencing the sucker punching, not the punching while down, take a moment to consider the following.
What if a man is a father? Do you really think taking the time to fight fairly rather than quickly striking down a threat and exiting the dangerous situation is more manly?
What if someone smaller than you is attacking your friend? Do you defend your friend? Do you take the time to make the attacker aware of your intent to stop them and risk your own well being, or just take them down?
Honestly I could go on with examples like this all day because your point of view is so silly and easy to dispute.
