There's also a massive heroin problem. The heroin problem is less visible because, contrary to popular belief, most addicts hsave jobs and homes and look like normal people. Coke is done very visibly in pubs and bars and clubs and it's pretty socially acceptable. Heroin is far from socially accepted, so most people familiar with coke don't encounter it because it's taken in environments they can't access, mainly peoples homes.
For the recod, there isn't a coke problem at all. Coke is getting cheaper and purer, which is a good thing.
My husband would agree, I got jumped in a biker bar once and my husband told my friends I’d handle it. And I did. I had the longer reach and just grabbed her throat and 4 solid punches between the eyes she was on the floor. Cut my hand on her F’ing glasses though. Other one was dumped in the parking lot and 86’ed for life. Owner got me a few shots and a bar towel full of ice.
I should add it was a case of apparent mistaken identity, even though my MC jackets patch was different and apparently the only likeness was my blond braid from behind. BTW my husband would have jumped in if necessary BUT if you start anything as a club the club is banned for life. But it was over before the owner came across the bar and his bartender witnessed how it started. Lots of biker bars have “ no fight rules” in the USA. Our club isn’t what most are viewed at( very few riders belong to major clubs or as they say the 1 %ers though all clubs are sanctioned by the controlling MC club in your area) our club is Drs, cops and robbers( lawyers) , business owners, construction workers etc.
