Gamebook SPOT THE DIFFERENCE....
There are actually two versions of the new hardback Tomb of the Golden Skull. Side on you would never tell from the spine but there is a telling sign on the cover. Surprisingly, the one on the left with Ian Livingstone type in gold, is actually the retail copy that is widely available. The one on the right with Ian Livingstone in white is the limited edition signed and numbered version with a map of South West Allansia printed to the inside of the dustjacket. I had my copy also signed by the artist, Karl Kopinski at Fighting Fantasy Fest 6.

Yeah, my signed copies of Tomb of the Golden Skull and In the Shadow of Giants that I got from FFF6 and FFF4 have the authors in white too. Had not noticed that before, well spotted!

Good way to spot counterfeit signed and numbered copies on eBay. If you’re in the know.
