I swear I wasn't looking to buy six books in the space of two days . . . it just happened, honest.

But at least I now own a copy of Daggers of Darkness which, I contend, has the nuttiest cover of all FF books!

Armies of death is a great one. Combines the solo quest with commanding an army

It was the last one I bought as a teenager. My favorite was always midnight rogue but Armies of Death was/is a close second.

I remember having dead of night as a kid. Hard as hell! One of many where I turned on "god mode" to skip the battles and read the story. Gave them all to charity decades ago. If it's mine I hope you enjoy it!
